Maintenance Manager
Berkshire Precision Tool, LLC has an opening for a Maintenance Manager. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the upkeep of equipment, buildings, grounds, vehicles, and facilities of the Berkshire Precision Tool LLC manufacturing plant located in Pittsfield, MA.
This is a “hands on position” requiring knowledge of electronics, pneumatics, mechanical and electrical systems. The successful candidate will have excellent supervisory skills and be highly motivated, team driven, detail oriented and organized.
Must be able to obtain certification to operate powered industrial vehicles such as fork trucks, manlifts. A valid motor vehicle operator’s license is required. Experienced with Widows Office and comfortable with PC work. Will be required to take and pass the requirements for an MA Class 1-C hoist license.

This person will be responsible primarily for the cost-effective utilization of manpower and capital resources required to operate a group of manufacturing departments.

CNC Machine Operator
Berkshire Precision Tool, LLC, a leading supplier of American-made, industrial cutting tools, is seeking CNC Machine Operators for 3rd shift for our production facility located in Pittsfield, MA. This person will be responsible for set-up and operation of production machinery.
For inexperienced operators who require training, starting pay will be $18.00 per hour. For experienced operators, starting pay will be commensurate with experience.
The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined. Trade school or prior machining experience is preferred but we will train the right individual. Prior experience using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers is a plus.

We are seeking an experienced/qualified IT Manager to lead and manage the IT department. This position will include managing and maintaining our infrastructure, hardware, software, and networks as well as finding creative solutions for our company.
The ideal candidate will have experience in SyteLine or a similar ERP system. This position needs to be familiar with Microsoft SQL and Crystal Reports. This is a comprehensive position that involves interaction with all department managers across the enterprise in respect to data processing and technology. The IT Manager will have overall responsibility for IT services and infrastructure at our main facility in Pennsylvania well as sister plants in Massachusetts and Indiana. The position will require some travel between the three plants.
Essential Functions:
- Install and support infrastructure including but not limited to, servers both physical and virtual, desktops, laptops, mobile phones, VIOP phones.
- Ensure security and efficiency of IT infrastructure.
- Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security resolutions.
- Monitor systems and respond accordingly.
- Build and share knowledge through documentation for staff and end users.
- Train users and promote security awareness as well as efficient use of equipment.
- Manage interoperability between vendor contacts and technicians to resolve issues beyond scope.
- Recommend technologies and be involved in decision making to positively impact the company.
Computer Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a systems administrator role.
- Experience in ERP's is a must
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL and Crystal Reports
- Maintaining the ERP system through implementation of system modifications, updates, and new releases.
Education and Experience:
- BS Degree in information technology, computer science or equivalent work experience.
- 5 plus years of experience in IT, including support of an ERP
- Basic understanding of business practices
